I was cast by Glenn Casale to star in Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella for the 1050-seat Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia - the oldest theatre in America - and I learned a lot working with him. During my time there I enjoyed learning about the history of the theatre and it was exciting to be part of such an extensive lineage of theatre-making. The book writer of Cinderella, Douglas Carter Beane, attended the show, which provided an added thrill for us all.

"Brent Thiessen is adorably sweet as the valiant, if insecure, Prince Topher."

"Director Glenn Casale has brought together an impressively talented ensemble that fills the stage with stunning vocals and big laughs. Intricate and athletic choreography, lavish sets, and dazzling costumes all help make Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella an unforgettable musical celebration."

"There are no weak links in this talented cast.  Brent Thiessen as Topher (the Prince) not only has command of a masterful voice but is tall, dark and handsome — and can dance!"
